Nepal 7.8 Earthquake Update

Dear Friend and well wisher,

Namaste and greetings!

The 7.8 earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday, 25 April 2015 at 11:56 am has caused wide spread destruction as you all have already heard the news. Numerous messages of concern, prayers and support have flown in from our friends and well wishers from all over the world. We would like to thank you all for your prayers and concerns and words of support, it has been very helpful in coping with the disaster and huge rebuilding task we face ahead of us.

As this is our busiest time of the year working on the AW15 order, lots of our colleagues were working overtime on this Saturday. Thankfully our buildings survived the earthquake and every one was able to get to safety without any incidents. Our office remains closed since the earthquake as there has been numerous aftershocks and one measuring 6.7 on Sunday. Since yesterday the aftershocks has been mild and people are gathering courage to go back to their home and check for damages. Many people lost their loved ones.

We are collecting information on staff and producers affected by the earthquake. We are afraid it will take some time but we will keep you all updated.

Our offices itself has not sustained damages except for small wall cracks. However, our old dye unit which has collapsed together with the boundary wall of the dye unit. Fortunately no one was working in the old dye unit. Please here some photos of the damages.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Best regards

Kiran and KTS Family
